Price: how much it costs and what it depends on
| Package | Accommodation | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | 3-star hotels with breakfast | From $400 USD per person (based on 2 travelers) |
| Comfort | 4-star hotels | Quote in 24 hours |
| Premium | 5-star hotels and charming palaces | Quote in 24 hours |
What most affects the price:
- Number of travelers. The car and the guide are shared among more people. We use sedans (1-2 people), SUVs (3-4) and minibuses (6-12).
- Hotel category. The difference between a 3-star hotel and a 5-star palace in Jaipur is significant.
- Season. Demand is highest from October to March; Diwali, Christmas, and New Year are the most expensive times.
- Extra nights or extensions. Udaipur, Ranthambore or Varanasi add nights and transfers.
No mandatory stops at shops or hidden extras: what’s not included is listed above.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1. Arrival in Delhi
Our representative will meet you at the airport with a sign bearing your name and take you to the hotel (between 30 and 60 minutes depending on traffic). If you arrive in the early hours of the morning, please request early check-in to rest. Free afternoon.
Night in Delhi.
Day 2. Old and New Delhi
In the morning, Old Delhi: Jama Masjid mosque (shoulders and knees covered; avoid prayer times) and a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk . In the afternoon, New Delhi: Humayun’s Tomb (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Qutub Minar , India Gate , and the exterior of the Presidential House.
Night in Delhi.
Day 3. Delhi to Agra
Take the Yamuna Expressway: approximately 230 km and 3.5-4 hours. After check-in, visit Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daula , the ” Little Taj .” At sunset, you can add Mehtab Bagh , the garden across the Yamuna River with views of the Taj Mahal.
Night in Agra.
Day 4. Taj Mahal at sunrise and journey to Jaipur
The Taj Mahal opens about 30 minutes before sunrise. We were among the first to enter, enjoying the soft light and fewer crowds. Bring your passport or a copy: they require identification at the entrance. After breakfast, we departed for Jaipur with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri (UNESCO World Heritage Site), about 40 km from Agra, and optionally at the Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri. The Agra-Jaipur journey is approximately 240 km and takes 4.5-5 hours by road, not including stops.
Important: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. If Day 4 falls on a Friday, we will swap the order: Taj Mahal at sunset on Day 3 and Agra Fort on Day 4.
Night in Jaipur.
Day 5. Jaipur: Forts and Palaces
We started early with a photo of the Hawa Mahal (its facade faces east and it looks best in the morning light) and the Jal Mahal , the palace on the lake. Afterwards, we visited Amber Fort , either by jeep or on foot. In the afternoon, we explored the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar observatory (UNESCO).
Night in Jaipur.
Day 6. Jaipur at your own pace
A day with plenty of time to explore: the Johari and Bapu bazaars , a woodblock printing workshop in Sanganer, a Rajasthani cooking class, or the sunset from Nahargarh Fort . If you prefer to relax at the hotel, that’s also a great option after five days of exploring. To extend your trip to include Udaipur, check out the tour with Udaipur .
Night in Jaipur.
Day 7. Jaipur to Delhi and departure
Stop at the Monkey Temple (Galtaji) , a complex of temples nestled in the Aravalli Hills. Afterward, it’s about 270 km to Delhi (5-6 hours) and transfer to the airport. Book your departure flight for after 8:00 PM. If it departs earlier, add an overnight stay in Delhi. This concludes the trip.
| Day | Route | Road | Essential |
